_Planting design for _The Luang Say Residence @ Luang Prabang by Luang Say hotels & cruises

Planting design around the site, to enhance nice views and screen out the rest.

Planting constraints :
- fast growing : planting done a few months before opening
- reach 6m high around swimming-pool
- low maintenance
- adaptation to wet soil in some areas (swale)
- flowers in some spots
- fruits
- limited budget
- plants should not damage wiremesh & fence

  1. Do you do individual residential homes? Our yard in Laksi was completely destroyed by the floods and needs to be redone. No grass, colorful ornamental plants, small trees, etc. are what I want now. What do you charge and do you do the actual planting - or supervise it?

  2. Dear M.,

I also work for residential homes. I don't do the actual planting, but I am on site with either with a few guys I know, or a professional gardening company, depending on the size of the land and the client's preference, and supervise them to make sure everything will be done properly.

It's difficult to tell you how much I'd charge before seeing your place, how big it is, what has to be done, how easy is it to access the garden, etc... Seeing the site is also required to have ideas that fit the place. Different people like different things, so knowing a bit the owner will help me chose the kind of garden the owner will enjoy best and be comfortable with.

May I suggest that we meet sometime in your garden, so that you can tell me more on what you expect to be done, and I can see how it can be done ? Daytime would be the best of course, if you work everyday, I don't mind coming early.

    Best regards,

    Landscape Architect
